Whether it’s employees traveling on business for a company or basketball players playing abroad, LiveSafe offers solutions to help keep people safe and prevent incidents both in the office and on the road.

As reported by The Associated Press, LiveSafe recently partnered with the WNBA to provide security solutions for 60-plus players competing in Russia, Turkey, China and other countries during the offseason.

Taking the proactive step of protecting players using LiveSafe was a key initiative for WNBA President Lisa Borders.

“This was a proactive effort to protect our players and secure their personal safety,” WNBA President Lisa Borders told The Associated Press. “Our partner in this endeavor is LiveSafe. It has multiple features and functionality. It’s a real-time way for our players to ask for help and receive help in dangerous situations or threatening environments.”

WNBA players traveling abroad will be able to download LiveSafe to their smartphones so they can be in contact with the league’s security officials if needed.

Using geofencing technology, the league will also be able to identify and send messages to players who use LiveSafe in emergency situations. This will allow players to tell the league they are OK or if they need assistance.
