John Oast is the Manager of Security Services for Geisinger Health System in Central Pennsylvania. He’s responsible for health care security and law enforcement for 13 hospital campuses, two research facilities, 32,000 employees and 1,800 physicians who serve 3 million residents across the region.On this episode of The Prevention Podcast, John takes us behind the scenes of his role and experience in health care security and risk management, including his views on the challenges of drug diversion, workplace violence, and the role that human intelligence plays in preventing safety and security incidents.
