Every year, millions of fans attend events in person, and technology is helping to amplify the fan experience while they are in the venue.

Using apps on their smartphones, fans can pay for parking, order and pay for refreshments for delivery straight to their seat and even get help when security issues arise.

LiveSafe recently announced a partnership with VenueNext, a venue technology platform company transforming the way people around the world experience venues.

Through a software development kit (SDK), LiveSafe offers Software as a Service (SaaS), allowing apps to incorporate its safety and security functions natively. All of LiveSafe’s capabilities become available to anyone with a VenueNext powered app.

The result is fans at venues can have greater control over their experience while enjoying the game, show or event they are attending. And, this season, LiveSafe is part of VenueNext’s app for Levi’s Stadium, home of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers.

The app allows security officials to receive crowdsourced tips into the LiveSafe platform from fans in real time to easily identify the precise location of incidents like suspicious activity, safety concerns, maintenance issues and spilled beverages. Users can send photos, videos and audio tips and are also able to interact in real time with security officials through two-way communication.
